Projection Mapping

Multiminded produced several large scale outdoor projection mapping presentations along with smaller indoor presentations. These include:

Hadrians Wall 1900/Jubilee Celebrations

Commissioned by: Ouseburn Trust and Community Foundation
The projection took place on the Cumberland Arms which was the site of Milecastle 3 of the Roman wall. It was the culmination of a full day of events. Multiminded produced a set of bespoke animations depicting various aspects of the Romans in Northumberland, etc. and the piece was designed specifically for the shape of the building. Jim also produced a piece of music synchronised with the visuals.

Here is a link to the tech rehearsal conducted a few nights before the actual event.

Toffee Factory 10th Anniversary

Commissioned by: Newcastle Council and Toffee Factory
Multiminded produced bespoke animations depicting historical aspects of the building and celebrating its current day usage. These animations were mapped to two large building ends and also a connecting footbridge to produce a light show that could be seen across the Ouseburn Valley. Here is a link to a shortened version of the presentation (the full presentation lasted for 8 minutes.

She did Phil Parker’s prestigious screenwriting MA at the London College of Printing.  She also went to Film School, Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design where she produced two documentaries for Channel 4, one filmed in and around the Pine Ridge native American Indian reservation in South Dakota.  Just after leaving she produced a BBC 10 x 10 drama, Physics For Fish for Simon Beaufoy and Bille Eltringham. When Fiona took part in the Northern Net Four Four Film Challenge competing against filmmakers from across the North her film was given a special mention by the judges and was praised by Northern Film and Media.
