The Baltic, Gateshead is one of our favourite buildings in the North East. Not only does it house the North East’s most well known art gallery over a number of floors but it also has a fabulous restaurant and super cool shop which is our go to place for buying great presents. What a location right beside the River Tyne and Millenium Bridge! When we started making our wooden landmarks collection we knew this one had to be one of the first.
